Join us as we take a quick look at the Harmonia Series Support Arm Set by Good Smile Company (GSC). And afterwards, have a look at my favorite things about the stands and what to look out for when displaying your doll. Enjoy! What I Like I like how sturdy the stands feel compared to other doll stands and I prefer to use the Saddle Type stand along with Harmonia’s original base to display my doll. I didn’t have any saddle stands in my collection before so when I came across this one, I was eager to try it out and I loved it! With a bit of putty on her feet for extra protection, my Harmonia hasn’t experienced any falls or tumbles with the saddle stand. I haven’t truly test the other 2 stands yet but they feel like they’ll support her as well as the Saddle type. I also really like that GSC offered 3 stands in one box. The additional stands give me so many more ways to display 1 Harmonia doll but it also launched a great idea! Since a doll can only use 1 stand at a time, it means the other 2 stands will not be used. My idea is to add more Harmonia dolls to my collection so that the remaining stands are supporting a doll (I know it’s a stretch but I’ll use any excuse to add more dolls to the family )What to Look Out For Inside the box there are 2 bases which are designed for the Waist type & Saddle type stands. I don’t trust the smaller bases to support my Harmonia, especially because I tend to accidentally bump into the display shelf (which for some odd reason, I do often ) But I can see how they may come in handy for photoshoots. The bases are small so it’ll be easier to hide them in the scenes compared to other doll stands. Overall, I’m happy with my support arm purchase, especially since I didn’t like the stand that came with my Hagumi Hanamoto (she was alway falling over). Interestingly enough, the stand that came with my Miku Hatsune is very similar to the Waist type stand. So from day one, she’s been nicely supported on top of the bookshelf. I don’t know when GSC started offering the articulated stands for the Harmonia humming series but that’s a plus in my books and an additional nudge for me to add more to the collection.Where to Buy If you’re interested in getting the Harmonia Series Support Arms set, you can order yours from the following shops: eBay These Harmonia stands were a fun surprise to open.
