Rumors about Rainbow High Reboot

Designer Michael Scott Anderson, the creator of the brand, left MGA in January 2024. The decision to reboot the Rainbow High brand was made just as Michael finished working on his final collection, "Fantastic Fashion." Around this time, several employees from another major toy company joined MGA. One of the managers from another recently rebooted doll line moved to MGA and worked on RH during the rebranding. He allegedly stated that the brand needed to be made more "child-friendly" and that black should not be used in the dolls' clothing. Both employees were soon fired, a few months after the reboot, but the damage to the brand had already been done.
